2016 Election Media Monitors In-Depth Report

White Plains, NY (March 14, 2016) – Media Monitors, the leader in local media monitoring, released its update on the primary election and the spots that both parties have been running Radio in the last ten days – March 4 to 13, 2016.

Sanders and Clinton Neck-and-Neck

In the last ten days, Bernie Sanders has taken a slight lead on Hillary Clinton. Bernie Sanders for President, his campaign, has aired 7,028 spots, while the National Nurses United Patient Protection PAC aired 856 spots, bringing the Vermont Senator’s total to 7,884 spots.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign ran 5,484 spots and the Priorities USA Action PAC added 2,022 spots giving her a grand total of 7,506 ads.

Ted Cruz’s campaign bought 390 spots in the last ten days, while the Trusted Leadership PAC ran 550 spots and the Super PAC Keep The Promise I added 230 spots bringing Cruz’s total to 1,170 spots on the radio.

Marco Rubio’s campaign ran 138 spots, while his Super PAC Conservative Solutions aired 548 spots. The Cuba Democracy Public Advocacy PAC played 99 spots for Rubio and the American Opportunity PAC added 32 spots making his total 817 spots.

Donald Trump For President ran 749 spots.

The Super PAC New Day For America aired 100 spots on behalf of John Kasich.

And as we have done each week, here are the totals for spots aired against candidates. All the spots run on radio against any candidate, were all spots against Donald Trump bought by Our Principles PAC:
